I just had to show you all the new wallet that I purchased today! I am in love with anything to do with owls and I totally love the vintage-y turquoise blue/green color. This is the most perfect wallet EVER!
Got it from Mod Cloth. I think that Mod Cloth is a new favorite site of mine. They have so many adorable houseware stuff. I need it all!
Anyways. I better get back to finishing up my Washington D.C. album. I have just a few more pictures to scrap and then I am finished.

Birdhouse
I know it has been awhile since I've blogged. Bad blogger I am!
Here is an altered birdhouse that I made for my stepmom for her birthday. She has a whole tree dedicated to birdfeeders and a few birdhouses. I got the unfinished wood birdhouse from Hobby Lobby. I know the pictures aren't the greatest. I have to work on better photography skills!
The front of the birdhouse. I painted the edges and undersides a turquoise-y blue color.
The back of the birdhouse. I used We R Memory Keepers paper. I do not remember the name of the line. I will have to get back to you on that!
This is the roof of the birdhouse. I originally had the roof covered in just the yellow paper. I didn't like how it looked so I took my scalloped border punch and made "shingles" for the roof. It looks 100% better with the "shingles."
I also used scalloped strips of paper to cover up the uneven cut lines.

Little Mustache
Today is my dad and stepmom's anniversary. Happy Anniversary!!! They have been married for 8 years already!
While I was making them their anniversary card, I was cutting out a parenthese and realized that is kinda looks like a little mustache. See it at the bottom?? Kinda does, doesn't it?
So what did I do? I had to take a picture of it like a mustache!

Disaster Zone
How I don't lose my mind while scrapping is beyond me! I think I am one of the most messiest scrappers out there--just look at my table. Total disaster!
I have been working on my Washington D.C. trip album for what seems like forever. I think I actually started it shortly after we got back from the trip in 2006, but have pushed it to the side thinking that I will get it done eventually. I started back on the album when my church had their monthly crop figuring that would be the perfect time to actually finish this. This is just an on going project and I am almost done, I can see the finish line!

Layouts... I need to think of more creative titles!
I forgot to mention in my last post that I am a huge fan of scraplifting and using sketches. It takes a whole lot off the process of making a layout if I use a sketch or scraplift!
Over at Scrapbook.com, they have monthly challenges and for the month of June I joined the Scraplift the Person Before You challenge (long name... makes my fingers tired just typing it!).
I lifted this layout by AllAmy...

This picture is of my stepmom and Turk Face at Bear Country at the Black Hills. I love this picture of these two looking at the flowers! Turk Face is so attached to her grandma it kinda makes me jealous :) I lifted Kristi (scrappinnelly from sb.com) from our critique group challenge where we had to lift another member of the group.
Look at that adorable lip on little Turk Face! I love this little girl soooooooooooo much!
How can she not be my most favoritest person in the whole entire world? I mean just look at her and she might turn out to be your most favoritest person in the whole entire world!!! I say this to her every time I see her!
This is another lift of Kristi. Last summer, my family and I went to the Black Hills on vacation and we took our camper and stayed at a campground. Well, Turk Face must have gotten hungry before she fell alseep because when we went in the camper, we found a bag of chips in the pack-n-play with her.
