ABC's

So I suppose that I should update this little old blog of mine. It has been pretty neglected lately. :(

Today was a pretty sad day. As some of you know, I work in a daycare and last Wednesday, one of our 1 year old passed away. Today was her funeral. She will be dearly missed and the suffering her family is going through breaks my heart. So I just wanted to let you know that is where my head has been the past few days.

(Please don't mind my eyebrows... I really have to get them done again.)

Anyways, I saw this on someone else's blog (can't remember who so if it was your idea, please let me know and I'll credit you!) and thought it was kinda cool.

ABC's of ME!!

A. Age: 24 (soon to be 25 in July!!)

B. Bed size: Queen

C. Chore that you hate: Dishes--can't STAND to do them. Putting the dirty dishes in the dishwasher isn't so bad, it is taking the clean ones out that I do not like.

D. Dogs: Rottweiler named Summer and a Rottweiler/German Shepherd named Maggi

E. Essential start to your day: Diet Mt. Dew

F. Favorite Colors: Yellow, Minty Green, Gray, Aqua/Tealy Blue

G. Gold or Silver: Silver

H. Height: 5' 10"

I. Instruments you play: I am musically challenged. Can't play a tune or read sheet music.

J. Job Title: Daycare provider (I get to spend my days playing and cuddling with 2 year olds!

K. Kids: None, but would love to have 5 someday :)

L. Live: Northwest Iowa

M. Mother's name: I don't really talk to my mother...

N. Nicknames: I don't really have any nicknames...

O. Overnight hospital stays: None

P. Pet Peeves: I have 2 major ones 1)When I go to pass someone who is driving too slow and then the person who I am passing decides to sped up. 2)When people do not put things away were they belong.

Q. Quote from a movie: These are from the movie The Sandlot. "For-ev-ver! For-ev-ver! For-ev-ver!" and when they are having that camp out in the tree house and Smalls doesn't know what a s'more is.. "This is s'mores stuff. First you take the graham. You stick the chocolate on the graham. Then you roast the mallow. When the mallows flaming, you stick it on the chocolate and cover it with the other end. Then, you scarf."

R. Right or Left handed: Right

S. Siblings: One older sister and one younger sister. I am smack dab right in the middle.

T. Time you wake up: Depends on what time I have to go to work in the morning. It varies between 5:45-10:00 a.m.

U. Underwear: Nice comfy ones!!

V. Vegetables you hate: Not a big fan of green beans.

W. What makes you run late: Over sleeping (I do that a lot) and when I can't get my hair to style the way I see it in my head

X: X-Rays you've had: Two for my left wrist (once in 5th grade--broke it roller skating--and once in 9th grade--broke it slipping on the ice) and my teeth at the dentist.

Y. Yummy food that you make: I don't cook/bake but when I do, Cake Mix cookies!! Yum!!

Z. Zoo animals: Giraffes, Elephants, Lions, Tigers, Bears, Monkeys, all of them!!
